See You In The Water

This phrase is often exchanged between surfers when they meet on land, reinforcing that they will likely find themselves surfing together during the next swell.

See You In The Water also speaks to us seeing ourselves when we are in the water. We enter a heightened flow state when we swim or surf by approaching the water with full focus and presence. Our time in the water is a healthy outlet for self-care and nurturing our mental well-being as we engage in activities that provide mediative contemplation and neurological processing.

This work hits on all four intersections of the show's theme, blue mind: meditation, community, movement, and a spiritual connection. This philosophy was first conceptualized and psychologically explored by author Dr. Wallace J. Nichols in his book, Blue Mind.
